Two bouts are scheduled for the forthcoming WWE NXT event this Tuesday night (July 9, 2024), as confirmed during WWE NXT Heatwave.
The first showdown to expect if you didn’t catch last week’s episode includes Gallus, who were scheduled to compete against Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe. However, a backstage brawl ensued and the contestants were pulled out for a medical evaluation. In reality, WWE opted not to include the showdown in that episode and used this scene as a delay strategy. As expected, Gallus conveyed their thoughts through a quick social media video, gearing up for the forthcoming match.
We couldn’t care less about #NXTHeatwave tonight.

Furthermore, after Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace emerged victorious in the Countdown to WWE NXT: Heatwave pre-show against Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx, a backstage encounter occurred between Petrovic, Grace, and Ava. Grace brought up her frustrations with Petrovic who she felt was holding her back, despite gaining the winning point for their team. A match to settle the debate was agreed upon and scheduled for the forthcoming Tuesday.
Say it ain’t so! 😔

Also on the agenda is a match between Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson against OTM, following a challenge issued by The Good Brothers the prior week. Wes Lee will publicize his prospects subsequent to his defeat by Oba Femi and his disqualification for the North American Championship title as Femi currently holds it.
Finally, Lexis King will vie with Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Heritage Cup, following a public insult directed at the Don of NXT.
