WWE is set to celebrate Independence Day, albeit nearly a month after July 4th, with the celebrated event – NXT Great American Bash.
Interestingly, this event has been promoted to be broadcast on SyFy, a divergence from the usual USA Network channel, as coverage for the Olympics will be commandeering the spotlight.
Adding to the intrigue, WWE has decided to roll out NXT Heatwave presently (July 7th), leaving fans curious as to why the company chose to give precedence to that label and delay Great American Bash to August. Historically, NXT Heatwave has been a TV special tied more closely with SummerSlam, scheduled to take place the weekend before the upcoming Great American Bash special.
