During the 2024 WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view spectacle held on Saturday evening, John Cena disclosed his plans to step back from in-ring showdowns by 2025.

Following the event, a media conference was held, during which Cena was questioned by John Pollock concerning his perspective on Vince McMahon, as well as the current federal scrutiny into the dealings of his former superior.

Cena, without directly addressing the query, referred to it as “uncomfortable” and provided this following statement,

“Undeniably a challenging question. I’d much prefer to discuss what lies before us, which is of utmost significance. My stance on that matter has always been clear and transparent. If you’ve missed it, I’m certain you can find my views somewhere. As we stand on the brink of something extraordinary, the evolution of this profession is indeed promising. I believe under the leadership of the TKO teams, we are in capable hands. I’m content and pleased with my current position. And, if you’re keen on uncovering that information, a thorough search will yield results. Thank you for your bravery.”
