Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton are scheduled to square off against The Bloodline, composed of Solo Sikoa, Tanga Loa, Tama Tonga and possibly Jacob Fatu, in a high stakes six-man tag team match at WWE Money In The Bank 2024.
This intriguing feud was sparked when Rhodes managed to hold onto his title against AJ Styles in WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. During this contest, The Bloodline assaulted him, only for Owens and Orton step in to his defense.
Speculations are rife about whether this fight will serve as Fatu’s WWE in-ring debut.
As previously reported on eWn, Fatu was restricted from wrestling outside of the US due to having a criminal history, as informed by MLW insiders. It is still unclear how this past would impact his WWE participation, especially considering WWE’s growing frequency of overseas events, predominantly in the spring and summer seasons.
Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer has disclosed that the members of The Bloodline likely to face off against Owens, Orton, and Rhodes would be Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Solo Sikoa. According to him,
“The six-man tag is going to be wild. It’s going to be great. As of now, the official identity of the contenders against Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes hasn’t yet been divulged. However, I was informed that it’s likely we’ll see Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Solo (Sikoa) although Jacob Fatu could make a surprise appearance. The promotional graphic on the show depicted all four members, indicating that any one of the four could participate.”
WWE Money in the Bank 2024 event is set to occur on Saturday, July 6, at the renowned Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
