The highly anticipated crossover event titled “AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024” will be held on the 30th of June at the UBS Arena which is situated in the suburban Elmont village of Long Island, New York.
AEW’s President, Tony Khan, took to his social media platform, Twitter, to reveal that the spectators can expect the “Zero Hour” opening event to extend beyond the stipulated time. The initiation event is set to commence at 6:30 PM ET and anticipates to last for about hour and a half.
The President enthusiastically tweeted “On this Sunday at the Forbidden Door event, I am thrilled as the world of wrestling merges @UBSArena. The AEW Zero Hour is expected to cross the time limit as some of the best wrestlers from AEW and around the globe will put up a free fight which can be watched worldwide. I hope with such a captivating lineup of matches, we will uphold our strong pay-per-view trends and attract new followers!“

Around the same time, STARDOM made an announcement on Twitter to share the completion of its merger with New Japan Pro Wrestling. This process of merging that started in April was successfully completed on the current day, making STARDOM a complete subsidiary of NJPW.
