WWE, the global professional wrestling entertainment company, has announced a collaboration with Manchester City F.C. The two internationally recognized brands will come together to create an exclusive range of merchandise featuring a plethora of WWE Superstars, including personalities such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Steve Austin, and Becky Lynch.
The official press release had the following details:
Manchester City F.C and professional wrestling giants, WWE, are embarking on an exclusive merchandise partnership. The two globally renowned entities would be featured in a series of new product collaborations.
The merchandise collection includes six unique T-shirt designs that intertwine the worlds of Manchester City and WWE. Merchandise includes a CM Punk “Best Team in the Land and All the World” shirt and other pieces that derive design influence from Superstars such as Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
In furtherance of this partnership, both entities have collaboratively created a fresh name and number typography for the professional football club’s players to wear during their preseason tour of America this summer. The custom design will integrate the WWE logo within the number and be offset with a bold red outline.
The debuting range of merchandise can be purchased from online platforms WWEShop.com, shop.mancity.com and Fanatics.com. This unique merchandise will also be available for purchase at the newly established pop-up CityStore, located at Rockefeller Center in the heart of New York City.
To herald the launch and coincide with SmackDown at Madison Square Garden this Friday, WWE Women’s Champion Bayley and Baron Corbin will make an exclusive appearance at the CityStore on 6th Avenue in New York City from 10 to 11 a.m. Fans can also enjoy a close-up view of the Premier League trophy during their visit this Friday and over the weekend.

Our club consistently seeks to offer innovative ways to improve our retail accessibility to fans worldwide, and collaborations with esteemed entities like WWE form a crucial part of this ongoing strategy,” expressed Serena Gosling, Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail & Licensing at Manchester City.
“Moreover, today’s announcement provides our U.S. fans and followers from other parts of the world with an additional means of connecting with the club, priming them for the men’s first team’s visit this summer,” Gosling concluded.
