Professional wrestler, Dijak, recently took to Twitter to announce his departure from WWE, with his last day of employment due to take place tomorrow.
Additionally, Dijak opened up about his availability for future gigs. Intriguingly, the tweet included mentions of industry figures such as Tony Khan, AEW, TNA, Tommy Dreamer, and NJPW.
In his tweet, Dijak explains, “Here’s the truth. WWE never negotiated with me. We tried to discuss terms and they stonewalled us. No offer was made and then they told me at the last minute that my contract wouldn’t be renewed. Two months ago, I was part of one of the best fights in NXT history, and a standout match of the Wrestlemania weekend. That day, a top executive at WWE told me I was ‘crushing it’. I was set to go head to head for the NXT title, yet I was transferred to RAW. Throughout 2023 and early 2024, I consistently exceeded expectations. I was always professional, not once shying away from sharing my ideas. Even the day before the news broke, I was pitching ideas. I was dependable, never missed a booking and only had one injury in seven years, which lasted three months. While I am thankful and disappointed, I am mostly excited about what’s next. This spark has reignited my zeal to continue proving myself to the world. All I ever sought was a fair shot, and now I have the opportunity to seize it. That’s enough chatter, now it’s time to either sink or swim. My final day under WWE contract is June 28, 2024. For bookings/interviews, reach out to [email protected]. Brace yourselves for what’s coming.”
