Rikishi, Ric Flair, and Natalya Express Their Reactions to Sika Anoa’i’s Death.

It was reported yesterday on eWn that Sika Anoa’i, a revered name in the WWE Hall of Fame, sadly passed at 79 years old.

Known as the patriarch of a family that includes Roman Reigns and the late Matthew Tapunu’u Anoa’i (Rosey), Sika passed on peacefully on a Tuesday morning.

Offering his tribute on Twitter was another WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi, Sika’s nephew. Here is what he posted:

The word that first strucks me when I think of my Uncle Sika is MENTOR; he was an adviser I trusted from the start, a confidant, and someone always spoke his mind!

As a professional, he was the one who showed me the intricacies of the profession, literally guided me on how to handle ‘roadlife’, the camaraderie of the boys. But above all, he, as my uncle, taught me to take things slow, to savour every moment of life.
We both cherished the laid-back life in Pensacola and he had perfected his unique ‘Samoan Southern Drawl.’

Uncle Sika’s journey began in Samoa and with his profession and unparalleled abilities, he left an impact worldwide! He was known for being WILD and if given a chance, I could narrate endless tales, however, for now, I extend my heartfelt gratitude 🙏🏽 for the experiences we shared. He will forever echo in my heart and thoughts.

While I mourn with my family, I find comfort in the belief that God’s plans are flawless and I find solace knowing he is now together with my mother, which brings a smile to my face. Uncle Seek, thank you, and I love you, continue to soar.”

Other prominent figures in the wrestling industry, such as Ric Flair and Natalya, also paid homage to Sika in the wake of his death.
