Returning to WWE on the episode of RAW aired on June 17, Seth Rollins engaged in a conversation with Matt Aguilar, a representative of ComicBook Nation, to elaborate on the details of said return and the notice he received prior to it. Rollins revealed,
“There’s been some fluctuation. I was notified a few weeks beforehand. We overviewed the timeline connected to my injury, analyzed the narratives and determined how I could be reintegrated. It’s hard to predict how things will unfold. There’s an impressive lineup here on RAW, including names such as Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, CM Punk when he’s present and fit, GUNTHER who’s awaiting his chance, Rey Mysterio, and Judgment Day. The roster is quite competitive. It was fascinating to decipher where I would fit in.”
He went on, “The timing was ideal. In the aftermath of Clash at the Castle, it was a golden opportunity. Damian Priest required an opponent, so I stepped up to the occasion.”
The upcoming 2024 WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event is set to feature a much-anticipated match between Seth Rollins and Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title.
