Booker T has expressed sheer optimism about Jacob Fatu’s potential in WWE, following his successful debut with the organization on a recent episode of SmackDown.
The former MLW star made quite the entrance in the final scenes, making his presence known by attacking Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes, even sending the latter crashing through a table.
In a fresh episode of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T candidly discussed his enthusiasm for Fatu’s arrival and why he’s excited about his upcoming journey in WWE. Booker T stated,
“The audience has been keenly awaiting the entry of Jacob Fatu. I’m thrilled that Jacob remained steadfast, more than anything else. I’ve been advising Jacob for a while now to stay strong, stating that his time would eventually arrive, and now it’s here. He’s causing quite a stir, and I’m eager to see this lad dominate the wrestling arena.
People often reflect on the Samoan dynasty, and I genuinely believe Jacob Fatu could be the standout performer amongst them. Indeed, he may just be the one. It’s going to be interesting to find out just how good Jacob Fatu really is. But I must say I’m, quite proud of him.”
Booker T also emphasized that Fatu possesses the crucial ‘it’ factor and expressed his belief that his debut at the main event pinpoints WWE’s immense faith in its latest recruit.
Additionally, Fatu is recognized for his tenure with Major League Wrestling. His remarkable run as MLW World Champion, lasting 819 days, is a record in the history of the organization.
