Within the WWE Universe, it appears there is a general consensus that Bobby Lashley’s group, The Pride, featuring B-Fab and The Street Profits members Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, fails to live up to the reputation of The Hurt Business, Bobby Lashley’s former group with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, masterminded by MVP.

It seems MVP shares this view as he seems to be nudging towards a reincarnation of The Hurt Business. However, contrary to his desires, Triple H reportedly does not support this initiative.

MVP conveyed these sentiments through a picture of The Hurt Business posted on Instagram three days ago, with the title “The world was in chaos. We were in harmony. #fashionablyviolent”.

The WWE Superstar has been addressing fan queries since then, often critiquing Triple H and “the authorities” for their apparent disinterest in the reunification of the faction. He controversially accused Paul Levesque, also known as Triple H, of emasculating African American wrestlers.

When Vince McMahon was named the culprit for this situation, MVP defended him, stating, “Triple H had the power to fix it. He chose not to. Go figure.”

Twitter user @swaggersaurusrex mentioned a notorious promo by Triple H to Booker T featuring the words, “Somebody like you doesn’t get to be a world champion.” MVP responded with a cryptic 💯emoji, insinuating that Triple H sincerely believes in these controversial statements.

While this paints an intriguing picture, it is, however, only one side of the story. Triple H has yet to comment on these allegations. However, based on these revelations, it’s evident that a comeback of The Hurt Business is unlikely given the individual statuses of former members such as Benjamin, Alexander and even MVP.

It appears The Pride was conceived as a replacement for The Hurt Business, a move that Triple H seems to endorse, although this new group has yet to command a similar level of intrigue or achieve comparative success.
