Cold Open For 1/1 AEW Dynamite Revealed, Updated Card

With AEW ready to kick off the 2020s in roaring fashion, the official Twitter account for All Elite Wrestling has released the cold open for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT.

Tonight will feature Jon Moxley’s answer to Chris Jericho about joining the Inner Circle, Riho defending her Women’s World Championship against Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida, and a special grudge match will take place between Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes.
In addition to all of that, Cody Rhodes will face Darby Allin in a rematch from AEW Fyter Fest with Arn Anderson making his official debut as Cody Rhodes’ on-screen advisor. Cody also has to look out for Maxwell Jacob Friedman tonight as the Burberry-wearing turncoat has promised to announce his stipulations for an impending match between Cody Rhodes and himself.
