The world of WWE was recently shaken when news broke about an accident involving ex-WWE Superstar, Matt Riddle, which left him with a concussion.
The “Original Bro”, as he’s affectionately known, took to social media platform, Twitter, to share the unfortunate news that he has been forced to withdraw from his forthcoming engagements this weekend, including his performance at the anticipated Northeast Wrestling show tonight. He revealed the cause as a collision in the Uber transport he had commandeered. Posting on the social media platform, Riddle reported,
“I feel the need to update everyone about a change of plans. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to tonight’s show, or tomorrow’s, as I was involved in an accident en route to the airport in my Uber. I had to seek medical attention at a hospital due to this. I did sustain a concussion, along with a few bumps and bruises, but I assure everyone, I’ll be okay. #seatbelt”
Just wanted to share with everyone that I won’t be making tonight’s show or tomorrow’s show, unfortunately on my way to the airport my Uber got into an accident and I had to go to the hospital and get checked out. I have a concussion, bumps and bruises but I’ll be fine #seatbelt pic.twitter.com/AiL6Gx6Nfv
