Drew McIntyre is unwaveringly committed to wresting the World Heavyweight Championship away from Damian Priest in the upcoming WWE Clash at the Castle happening in Scotland, despite confronting perplexing occurrences.
While he is facing one of the crucial and monumental confrontations of his career, McIntyre’s focus is bifurcated. The reason being, at today’s pre-event gathering, he announced that his wife, Kaitlyn, is under emergency surgery and hence, wouldn’t be able to join the event with the rest of his family. He shared,
“My concentration is hyper laser-focused. I’m more focused than I’ve ever been. I didn’t realize such a state was attainable. The previous Clash strike was a wound in my heart, a blow to my family, and shattered the entire UK. There’s no way I can let that happen again in my homeland, Scotland. It’s overwhelming to be back home. It’s a moment beyond my wildest dreams. My folks will be there, my beloved ones, it’s a retry. A shot at setting things right. I didn’t intend to share this, but it is constantly on my mind. My wife, the only person who won’t be present, is currently in surgery, an emergency operation. She told me ‘I want you to be there and bring back the title’. And that’s exactly what I intend to do. I will bring the title home.”
We sincerely wish Kaitlyn a successful surgery, regardless of the result of the pay-per-view event for McIntyre.
What’s your prediction? Will The Scottish Warrior manage to pull through? Or will he endure another heart-wrenching and unplanned defeat as it happened in the last Clash at the Castle, potentially missing out on a title win?
