During a recent conversation with WGN Radio 720, wrestling superstar Mustafa Ali revealed details about his forthcoming TNA X-Division Title defense against Trent Seven, scheduled for the upcoming TNA Against All Odds 2024 this weekend. Ali has been the reigning champion of the title since February. He confessed,
“To tell the truth, initially, I undervalued Mr. Seven. This match was merely meant to be an exhibition, until a tag team match on the latest TNA iMPACT! episode made me observe something different in Mr. Seven’s eyes, a spark we’ve last seen during his NXT UK days. To be completely frank, I never saw him as a potential threat. However, overlooking Mr. Seven would be a mistake given his immense size. I am wholly confident of defending my championship. He is entering a hostile ground, my beloved hometown of Chicago. Ignorance about its location being Cicero will not alter the fact. My people will stand by me in support. As for Mr. Seven’s strategy, or how he’s planning to endure the night against one of the world’s best in his home ground, it’s an enigma, and he’s going to need all the luck he can gather. Post our encounter on TNA iMPACT! a week before, I have become more alert of him, but the outcome will remain unchanged.”
In a recent broadcast of “Battleground” podcast, Ash by Elegance (popularly known as former wrestler Dana Brooke) shared insights about her character development post her departure from WWE in the preceding month of September.

Speaking about TNA Wrestling, she stated, “TNA offers a field of opportunities. WWE and NXT provided a remarkable platform for over a decade that allowed me to spread my wings before branching out. Landing in TNA was a conscious decision. When we discussed, they encouraged exploring personal beliefs and ideas to shape the character.”
Discussing her current character, she expressed, “I included everything I cherish – fashion, luxurious things, jewelry, accessories, and the latest trends – to build the character. This also allowed me to showcase it in the wrestling ring.”
