When asked about his close brush with joining the Heart Throbs, Nic said, “There was a probability that I was heading to join the Heart Throbs. They were extraordinary wrestling guys whom I admired. They were muscular and had a brief span of performing. They made their debut by losing, a situation that could have involved me. I was upset because I found myself in a cheerleading group instead.”
Regarding the support from Pat Patterson, Nemeth disclosed, “Pat Patterson was a significant admirer of my talent. The most influential person in the company, just behind Vince, took me aside and told me, ‘Pat advocates for you relentlessly because he recognizes your enormous potential. We are currently making him the butt of our jokes, by letting you be defeated every week’ – something they thought would be amusing to share with me.”
