Jordynne Grace, TNA Knockouts Champion, has often flirted with the idea of joining WWE full-time in the past. Recently, she made some guest appearances for WWE, proving that she has all it takes to make it in the big league.
The recent episode of WWE NXT marked Grace’s first appearance on the gold brand. It was also the episode where she was unveiled as the contender for the WWE NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez.
NXT alumnus McKenzie Mitchell got the chance to interview Grace recently, asking her about her sporadic outings for WWE and if she’s contemplating on signing a pact. Grace responded to this by saying,
“Honestly, I believe it’s always been a matter of perfect timing. There have been several instances when my contract was nearing its end and I was in touch with WWE. Yet, I chose to remain with TNA because it felt like home, plus the uncertainty of how I would be accepted in WWE. It’s mind-boggling to me hence that the right time wasn’t back then, but now. And it puts me in a position where I can enjoy the best of both worlds. Basically, it’s a confirmation that things happen precisely as they should.”
The anticipated face-off between Grace and Perez is scheduled to take place this coming Sunday night at WWE NXT Battleground, at the UFC Apex. It will make history as the inaugural WWE event hosted at the facility.
In the TNA Against All Odds 2024 event, Grace plans to protect her Knockouts Championship in an open challenge. It is widely speculated that a WWE NXT Superstar will respond to her challenge.
