A date has been decided for the court hearing in the case of Jerry “The King” Lawler, who is suing over the death of his son, Brian Christopher.
Hardeman County in Tennessee is at the receiving end of Lawler’s lawsuit for wrongful death. This follows the tragic passing of his son, Christopher who was under detention for a DUI charge when he succit to his injuries, according to the lawsuit.
It has been reported by Pwinsider that the jury trial is scheduled for March 31, 2025. This decision came during a scheduling conference in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Tennessee (Jackson).
Lawler is alleging that while Christopher was under the sheriff’s office’s custody, they did not adequately help him treat his substance abuse problems. Furthermore, Lawler is also accusing that his son suffered an assault from another prisoner on the day he passed away.
