Fightful Select recently disclosed the evolving status of professional wrestler Shane Haste’s contract, formerly known as Slapjack in WWE, now with NJPW.
Reportedly, Haste’s current tenure with NJPW is set to conclude later this month, which will pave the way for his free agency. The following steps are yet to be clarified, including whether or not NJPW and Haste have initiated discussions for contract renewal.
During his journey with NJPW, Haste and his TMDK tag team co-partner, Mikey Nicholls, secured a victory for the NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Titles in April. However, the partnership met their match against El Phantamso and Hikuleo at NJPW Resurgence held the previous month.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that Dijak, another WWE wrestler, is on the brink of his contract termination. Former WWE Superstar Mace, otherwise known as Mason Maddon, has already entered free agency.
As of now, Dijak’s decision regarding a new contractual commitment following his transfer to the RAW roster in the 2024 WWE Draft season is pending.
