This week on Twitter, WWE star Sami Zayn reflected on his participation in the King & Queen of the Ring 2024 WWE pay-per-view event.
In the 2024 WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament, Zayn was able to maintain his WWE Intercontinental Championship successfully.
The IC Champion expressed, “Finding the right words to describe this moment is genuinely challenging, it truly is. The word ‘proud’ simply surfaces… Despite not portraying myself as Mr. Arab Man daily, I believe a substantial number of people are unaware that I am Arab and Muslim which I have come to understand.”
Zayn added, “Although my character may not reflect it blatantly, it is an integral part of my identity. When I visit this part of the world, it gives me a wholeness that I only comprehend when I get here. To be able to represent my people and the entire Middle East as Intercontinental Champion is indescribably fulfilling.”
He captioned his video as:
“I’ve had a stellar career.”
“Despite not featuring on the list of titles I’ve seized, epic matches I’ve engaged in, or compelling narratives I’ve unfolded, one of my most glorifying accomplishments is representing, at the highest echelons, my Arab siblings in the Middle East and the global Muslim community.”
I’ve a had a brilliant career. And while it won’t show up on a list of titles I’ve won, great matches I’ve had, or dramatic stories I’ve told, one of my proudest achievements is representing, at the highest level, my Arab brothers & sisters in the Middle East & Muslims worldwide. pic.twitter.com/mNl6oQlpmo
