Eddie Kingston Sustained an Injury During a Match at NJPW Resurgence

After his loss to Gabe Kidd in a no-rope, last-man-standing match at NJPW Resurgence, professional wrestler Eddie Kingston was unexpectedly ambushed by Jack Perry and The Young Bucks. Their choice of attack? The fierce EVP trigger maneuver.

An interesting development unfolded on Dynamite this Wednesday, when it was unveiled that Kingston will be teaming up with Bryan Danielson, and FTR. They will go head to head with The Elite in a thrilling Anarchy in the Arena bout at the forthcoming Double or Nothing event later in the month.

In a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez commented that Kingston may have hurt his leg, which slammed into the barricade while he was performing a suplex off the apron. The extent of the injury is not yet clear, but we’re hoping he gets back on his feet soon.
