According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE started talks with McIntyre for a new contract extension in March and the deal was just finalized. It is said that there was “a lot of back and forth negotiations” between both sides, with McIntyre being happy with the outcome and how it will affect his family.
It was added that McIntyre is now under a new “multi-year, big-money” contract. All of the contracts signed by veteran Superstars are expected to be done the same way going forward.
