Tommy Dreamer Expresses Doubts Over WWE’s Decision to Promote Bron Breakker from NXT

Tommy Dreamer has questioned the call-up of Bron Breakker as the second-generation star has done relatively little on the main roster.

Breakker officially signed with WWE SmackDown in February of this year after an impressive NXT run that saw Bron become a two-time NXT Champion.

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Tommy Dreamer was critical of WWE’s handling of Bron on the main roster so far. He said,

“Don’t wish to get called up because if they don’t have great creative plans for you, you’re gonna get lost in the sauce. Bron Breakker, his call up, I was like, ‘Why are you calling up somebody now?’ What’s he done since he got called up? He had a couple of impactful debuts, couple of wins.”

Breakker will be eligible to be drafted during the first night of the WWE Draft that will take place on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

Tommy Dreamer Criticizes WWE’s Handling of Bron Breakker on the Main Roster

Former professional wrestler Tommy Dreamer recently voiced his concerns about the way WWE has handled the call-up of second-generation star Bron Breakker. Dreamer, known for his time in ECW and WWE, expressed his disappointment with Breakker’s lack of significant opportunities since joining the main roster.

Bron Breakker, whose real name is Bronson Rechsteiner, officially signed with WWE SmackDown in February of this year after an impressive run in NXT, where he became a two-time NXT Champion. The young wrestler showed immense potential and garnered a strong following during his time in NXT.

However, since his call-up to the main roster, Breakker has struggled to make a significant impact. Dreamer questioned the decision to bring him up without having solid creative plans in place. He stated on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, “Don’t wish to get called up because if they don’t have great creative plans for you, you’re gonna get lost in the sauce.”

Dreamer’s criticism stems from Breakker’s limited appearances and lack of substantial storylines on the main roster. While Breakker had a couple of impactful debuts and secured a few wins, he has yet to be given a prominent role or engaging storyline that showcases his talents.

The upcoming WWE Draft presents an opportunity for Breakker to potentially change his trajectory. He will be eligible to be drafted during the first night of the draft, which will take place on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown. This could be a chance for WWE to reassess their plans for Breakker and provide him with more substantial opportunities moving forward.

Fans of Breakker and supporters of his potential in the industry hope that WWE takes Dreamer’s criticism into consideration and gives the young star the platform he deserves. With his impressive athleticism and family lineage (his father is wrestling legend Rick Steiner), Breakker has the potential to become a major player in WWE if given the right opportunities and creative direction.

As the wrestling world eagerly awaits the outcome of the WWE Draft, all eyes will be on Bron Breakker to see if he can break free from the perceived stagnation on the main roster and prove his worth as a top-tier talent.
