6/16 WWE Backstage Viewership Sees A 2020 Best Following Survivor Series 1996 Lead-In

WWE Backstage viewership sets a new 2020 record with CM Punk, Bret Hart, and more.
The June 16 edition of WWE Backstage on FS1 followed the first-ever cable TV airing of 1996’s Survivor Series in its entirety. The legendary Supercard featured Bret Hart battle Steve Austin in an all-time classic for bragging rights as well as Shawn Michaels defending the WWE Championship against Sycho Sid. According to Showbuzz Daily, WWE Backstage pulled in 175,000 viewers, setting a new high for the year.

CM Punk was also back this week and he interviewed Bret Hart, saying that to him, the match he had with Owen Hart at SummerSlam 1994 is was objectively a great match. CM Punk would also weigh in on the greatest wrestling match of all time which saw Randy Orton defeat Edge. Bret also spoke with Booker T:
