It was revealed at the opening of AEW Dynamite that “Switchblade” Jay White had suffered an attack by the Death Riders, leading to his withdrawal from the forthcoming Owen Hart Foundation Tournament this year.
Further into the program, the complete lineup for both the men’s and women’s brackets was disclosed as follows:
In the men’s division, Will Ospreay will go head-to-head with Kevin Knight (stepping in for Jay White), Brody King is set to compete with Konosuke Takeshita, Mark Briscoe will meet Kyle Fletcher in the ring, and “Hangman” Adam Page will grapple with a mystery opponent.

For the women’s tournament, the opening round will kick off with Jamie Hayter vs. Billie Starkz, Thunder Rosa squaring off against Kris Statlander, a contest between Julia Hart and Mercedes Mone, and a duel between Harley Cameron and Athena.
