The lineup for the 2024 AEW Continental Classic has been confirmed.
Through their social media channels on Sunday evening, All Elite Wrestling revealed that a dozen wrestlers will vie for the championship in the forthcoming 2024 Continental Classic. The much-anticipated tournament is slated to start on the episode of AEW Dynamite airing on Wednesday, November 27th.
Featuring a round-robin structure, the tournament involves participants challenging one another in a sequence of matches over the course of a month.
The matches will unfurl on the episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision.
The scoring system is outlined below:
Victor: Earns 3 points.
Defeated: Earns no points.
Draw: Each participant secures 1 point.
Throughout the matches, any outside interference is strictly prohibited.
The top performers with the most points accumulated from each league (which are likely to be divided into various groups or divisions) will advance to the finals of the league.
These finals will take place at the AEW Worlds End, where the best performers will square off for the championship.
The triumphant wrestler at the end of the tournament will be bestowed with the title of the AEW Continental Champion — a noteworthy achievement in their career.
