2021 WWE Hall Of Fame Legacy Inductees Highlighted By Ethel Johnson & Paul Boesch
The 2021 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony aired tonight, and during the event, the Legacy class of the Hall of Fame was announced, and included some extremely legendary names.
The Legacy class, which includes Dick the Bruiser, “Pistol” Pez Whatley, Buzz “Bulldog” Sawyer, Ethel Johnson, and Paul Boesch, features some legendary talent and former champions. Dick the Bruiser was a former AWA World Heavyweight Champion and was inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame in 1994. Whatley was a star in Jim Crockett Promotions that often teamed with Jimmy Valiant, who he later lost a hair vs. hair match to. Sawyer had a short WWF run in 1984 and was best known for his bloody match against Tommy Rich that has been dubbed the “Last Battle of Atlanta.”
A pioneer, Johnson was the first African American women’s wrestler and was a star in the 50s and 60s. Finally, Boesch is best known for running Houston Wrestling and also worked as a wrestler and announcer.
