2 Matches Added To AEW WrestleDream 2024, Updated Card

AEW WrestleDream 2024 sees the addition of two new matches and the anticipated return of Swerve Strickland.

“Switchblade” Jay White triumphed over Cody Chhun in the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, after making a surprise return the previous week, where he targeted “Hangman” Adam Page post his bout with Juice Robinson. After his victory, White signified his intention to go after the world title but desired to settle scores with Page first.

White’s last match against Page in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament was unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, a four-way match to decide on Mariah May’s future contender saw Willow Nightingale emerge victorious against Saraya, Jamie Hayter, and Nyla Rose. Post-match, May attacked Nightingale with her title belt. But Nightingale didn’t take it lightly and retaliated later in the night during May’s interview segment.

There are talks of Swerve Strickland’s return at WrestleDream which has caught the attention of many including MVP and Shelton Benjamin, who have shown interest in facing Strickland.
