A report from TMZ recently revealed that 2 Cold Scorpio, an ex-wrestler from WCW, ECW, and WWE, was detained earlier this month related to a stabbing incidence.
The confrontation took place on June 15 at a Love’s Travel Stop located in Kansas City, MO.
Scorpio, legally known as Charles Scaggs, asserted to law enforcement officials that he was working as a security guard during the incident. He identified a man who was igniting a cigarette indoors and approached him to address the issue.
The circumstance escalated, resulting in a physical conflict outside the establishment wherein Scorpio claims he resorted to using a knife in self-protection.
The wounded man, who was later found lying on the ground suffering from multiple injuries, pointed the finger at Scorpio as the perpetrator.
Following the incident, Scorpio was apprehended and faces charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He’s been let out on bail since and has declared his innocence.
A court hearing regarding this case has been set for the coming month.
