Johnny Gargano looks to end his championship curse against Leon Ruff

All was good once again in the Gargano household after Johnny Gargano recaptured the NXT North American Title at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

But will the good times keep rolling for Johnny Wrestling when he puts the title on the line tonight against Leon Ruff, or will he once again fall victim to his own championship curse?

Or will @LEONRUFF_ pull off another SHOCKER?https://t.co/PLPkQKHeRp

The last time Gargano defended the championship, Ruff scored one of the biggest upsets in WWE history. But thanks to help from Austin Theory, Gargano is now a three-time NXT North American Champion after besting Ruff and Damian Priest in a Triple Threat Match.

However, Gargano has still never defended a title successfully, failing to do so in his previous two reigns with the title, as well as with the NXT Championship.

With The Way on his side, will he finally find a way to beat fate? Or will Ruff be golden once again?

“The Colossal” Bronson Reed battles Isaiah “Swerve” Scott to kick off the night

One week after “The Colossal” Bronson Reed made a dynamic return to NXT, the massive Superstar is set to go one-on-one with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott at the start of tonight’s show at 8/7 C on USA Network.

Despite his formidable size and force-of-nature offense, Reed will have his massive hands full with the high-flying Scott, who picked up an impressive win this past Wednesday night against Jake Atlas. Can that confidence carry Scott to victory against the big man?

Breezango clash with The Grizzled Young Veterans

Every tandem in NXT’s Tag Team division is looking to impress as 2021 fast approaches, and the final NXT of 2020 features a must-see four-man duel as former NXT Tag Team Champions Breezango square off against former NXT UK Tag Team Champions The Grizzled Young Veterans on tonight’s show.

Let's av it lads!
