10/1 WWE SmackDown Taping Moved From New Orleans To Baltimore
WWE announced on Monday that the October 1, 2021 episode of Friday Night SmackDown set to take place in New Orleans has been moved to a new location.
According to the company, the event will now take place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, instead of New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center. It’s unclear just why the event was moved, but the ongoing storms hitting that part of the country could have played a role in WWE’s decision to avoid holding the event in this area.
The company stated that all original tickets sold will be honored for a new date in 2022, and that additional information regarding tickets for both the postponed event and new one will be announced soon.
